I am currently working at Horizon Hobby as a web developer - the only web developer for the company. We're a Microsoft based shop and we're moving full force with .NET framework. It's been great working at a company with wonderful folks & rich values.
Some facts about our company. We're not just a toy shop in Champaign, Illinois, but we're the second largest Hobby distributor in the world. We're recognized for top quality hobby products and first-class services. Our exclusive brands include names such as JR radio systems, Saito 4-stroke model engines, Zenoah gas engines, MDS 2-stroke model engines, Dynamite R/C car accessories, Team Losi R/C cars and trucks, Pro Boat R/C boat kits, and Hangar 9 airplanes.

Our dealers will used this site to browse and order our 60,000+ products online. Our current projected sale for this year is 170 million dollars and 60% of that sale will be made through FastServe window & online application. This site was all developed in .NET and it has tons of cool features. This definately has to be my best work ever as a developer.
Everything was developed in .NET between two developes. We developed this site with vision of reusing components, such as search, glossary, product page, and etc, so that we can build other brand sites with speed & ease. This site was developed in 4 weeks.
We reused .net components from DynamiteRC.com. Two sites look very different but we're using two different base templates to generate them. We developed this site in 11 working days.
We're providing our dealers with E-Commerce capabilities through HSN. Dealers can customize content, design, pricing, and much more. Participating dealers range from HobbyTown USA chains to small hobby shops in your own neighborhood.
